Nerium is based in Dallas, Texas with the corporate functional areas including a call center at the corporate headquarters. Nerium entities have been established in Mexico (2014), Canada (2014), South Korea (2015), Japan (2016), Australia (2016) and Colombia (2017), with plans to expand into multiple additional markets in 2017. 

The Position

The position requires someone who is highly motivated, adaptable and has the capability to complete tasks and projects on time in an entrepreneurial environment. Must be a self-starter and have the confidence to take the initiative when guidance may be limited. This individual will also need to be very flexible and be prepared to partner with associates in a dynamic, fast growth environment.  

The role of Sales Training Manager requires an ability to understand the strategic importance of Nerium’s training rhythm and then be able to translate that into an organized, tactical, step-by-step process.  The role is specifically responsible for managing the field education projects and training events that are provided to the field, including online training courses, phone conferences, webinars and on-stage / event presentations, as well as interacting with the field to coach trainers.  Knowledge and prior experience in the direct selling industry is a must for this role. 

Specific Accountabilities/Essential Functions of the Position

  • Partner with Chief Field Officers to conduct training needs analyses
  • Ensure Brand Partner training content is organized, updated and relevant to each of our markets
  • Innovate & utilize industry best practices to design learning solutions
  • Develop & execute training plans to improve the knowledge, engagement and performance of all segments of the field
  • Obtain necessary approvals, vendor sourcing and oversee the quality of services delivered
  • Be prepared to develop & facilitate Train the Trainer sessions for Brand Partners
  • Manage & create field training content for all required touch points
  • All other duties as assigned 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; minimum five years of experience in adult learning/training
  • Experience with field-based sales forces & Direct Selling / Network Marketing required
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of graphic design and/or video editing software
  • Ability to work under pressure of meeting tight deadlines with a positive attitude
  • Experience evaluating vendors & providers to ensure relevant and effective global solutions
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
